An illustrated book and animation as part of the Breaking Barriers support for children dealing with the trauma of having a parent in prison.
The animation and book depict a young boy named Dylan as he faces the challenges of having a father in prison and the experience and emotions of visiting him.

Dylan provides a child-focused character who aims to help reduce the levels of anxiety often felt by younger children visiting a parent or loved one in prison.
Yellobelly originated the Dylan character to feature within the Ormiston Families new brand launch video – telling the stories of three individuals going through very different but equally challenging life experiences.
Dylan’s Story also serves as a resource for professionals working with a child affected by imprisonment, offering activities that can be worked through with the child.
