Creating a distinctive, coherent signage system to guide and welcome visitors to the historic market town of Halesworth.
Working with Halesworth Town Council (HTC) and Streetwise Systems, we were commissioned to design a wayfinding system that reflects Halesworth’s unique identity – a town steeped in heritage, culture and natural beauty, nestled in the Suffolk countryside.
The objective was to enhance the visitor experience, connect key locations across the town, and encourage exploration of local shops, green spaces and attractions – including the Millennium Green and Halesworth’s arts and cultural venues.
The two-sided information points incorporate the HTC brand, associated colour palette and a wealth of historical image and text content in conjunction with maps and detailed directional information.
In addition we developed design for a network of fingerposts and wall mounted signs which establish a more connected, legible and welcoming town centre experience.
