In the spotlight

On Tuesday, February 28th, Sir William McAlpine will introduce the Railway Benefit Fund’s new look to leading representatives of the Train Operating Companies (TOCs), guests from the railway industry, dignitaries and the media.

This high-profile launch is designed to encourage maximum publicity and support for a charity which is a vital safety net for those working in our industry.

Moving with the times
Today’s railway people face challenges and problems that may well be different from those experienced by previous generations.

By adopting a contemporary new look, through introducing a series of promotional posters and other awareness-raising activities, and via a very visible launch, the charity is setting out to declare itself ready for the challenges of the 21st century.

“The problems we encounter range from bereavement to bullying to family breakup. We’d never claim to have all the answers. But we’re there when we’re needed and we do everything in our power to help.”
